Who is Kristie K?
In a word, me.
I am founder and executive director of Velo Ministries - a revolutionary new ministry calling young women who love God to be – wait for it – young women who love God. Novel, huh?
By providing real encouragement, practical direction and relevant teaching, women’s lives (of all ages really) are enhanced, transformed and put on course to make a difference for God. I can’t stand the ‘plastic, fantastic’ approach to being a woman that you see portrayed on TV today.
And I know, typically when you hear a women’s ministry say something like that, you expect them to all be toothless, manless and senseless. Not so, here!
I wanted VELO to become a dynamic group of young, beautiful women who love the Lord and want to serve him through their everyday lives. That’s what this blog is all about – real women, talking real issues about a real God. That’s me in a nutshell. So gather ’round, read along and tell us what’s on your mind as a godly, progressive woman in the real world.
